1. General Studies Syllabus
- General Science: Basics of scientific knowledge, laws of mechanics, properties of matter, everyday applications of science, elements, compounds, life sciences, environment, and ecology.
- Current Events: National and international events, history, politics, geography, economics, science, prominent personalities, sports, books, and authors.
- Geography of India: Physical features, climate, water resources, rivers, soil, minerals, natural resources, transportation, social geography, and environmental issues.
- History and Culture of India: Ancient civilizations, medieval and modern Indian history, socio-cultural aspects, unity in diversity, secularism, and prominent historical figures.
- Indian Polity: Constitution of India, fundamental rights, duties, directive principles, union and state government structures, judiciary, elections, federalism, corruption, and women’s empowerment.
- Indian Economy: Economic structure, five-year plans, revenue sources, banking system, fiscal and monetary policies, goods and services tax, industrial growth, rural welfare programs, and social issues.
- Indian National Movement: Early resistance against British rule, leaders, movements, ideologies, communalism, and partition.
- History, Culture, Heritage, and Socio-Political Movements in Tamil Nadu: Tamil society, literature, freedom struggle, socio-political movements, rationalism, Dravidian movement, and contributions of leaders.
